Bamboo Ready … Cabinets are here!

First off, Happy’s Father Day, Dad!

The cabinets finally arrived on Thursday 6/18/09 and I was super excited to start seeing the kitchen come back together. Here is the first glimpse of the cabinets being installed. Before anymore cabinets are to be installed, the granite has to be fabricated and will take about a week or so. Then the granite will be installed and the remainder of the cabinets can then be installed. As for the granite, I’ve decided on a straight edge because I am going with a contemporary look, so I wanted to stay true to the design element.

I still have not picked my paint colors yet, but know that I want something neutral. I think I will go back and visit Karen at Home Depot and get some of her expert advice.

The only other item that I still have yet to purchase is the bathroom vanity mirror… would it be so bad if after going to the bathroom you had no mirror to check yourself out in?

What is your color choice for the walls? I wanted to go with tans and neutrals for the walls, and maybe do one wall with an accent color… any thoughts?
